Individual and group art psychotherapy treatment and counseling services for children, adolescents and adults are offered in my practice.
I specialize in treating: depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship issues, trauma, and chronic mental illness.
Art psychotherapy is based on the premise that unconscious thoughts and feelings are expressed through spontaneous imagery (2 & 3-dimensional forms), rather than in words. The artwork serves as a safe channel for communication, a vehicle for developing a therapeutic relationship between a client/therapist, and a permanent record of treatment.
People struggling with mood changes, isolation, relationship struggles, and loss of self/purpose.
I welcome anyone who is looking to explore ways to improve their quality of life, whether it is due to life transitions, relationship conflicts, or managing emotional challenges. Through consistent and committed work together, we can identify the root of where troubling patterns have begun and develop strategies to help you gain balance, strength, and personal fulfillment.
(I am not on any insurance panels at this time.)
